Our family had dinner here and for me it was my first time, but they had been here a couple weeks before which they really enjoyed. They were excited to bring me. They were telling me about another customer that had this gigantic steak. I ended up ordering the 16 ounce prime rib, and I've had a ton of prime rib in my lifetime mostly from casino restaurants, diners, buffets, so this is probably the first time I've had it in a true sitdown restaurant. My oh my, I have been eating garbage in comparison to this prime rib at Thompson 105! I will definitely be coming back to enjoy this prime rib once again. It was incredibly tender, juicy, and overall delicious! Perfectly cooked to medium rare. My family had pasta dishes, but I'm personally not a fan of pasta in general, but they really enjoyed their food.

What a great neighborhood restaurant! The food is always on point and the service is great. If you can't make it for the happy hour specials, I highly recommend the prime rib and Focaccia bread but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. This place was the old twisted lizard. The ambiance and decor are much improved. The decor is modern and fresh. It's definitely not twisted lizard 2.0. It is a complete reinvention of the space under new ownership. It is a great place for a date. I'd go back anytime.

Nestled in a shopping center in Scottsdale, this is a perfect place to meet a friend or bring your family. Staff is so friendly!! Great happy hour and great menu! Can get 1/2 portions on many items. The homemade Gnocchi Sorentino is soooo delicious!!! Great place to sit outside when the weather is nice!!

Finally had the opportunity to try this place for a ladies night out last week and have already been back twice! The food is the show stopper here, and it is wonderful! Starting with the restaurant itself, Thompson 105 gives off a high end sports bar sort of vibe with amazing outdoor dining and incredible views of McDowell mountain. Probably the best view of the mountains from any restaurant in the area, that can be viewed from inside just as well as it can from their outside patio. The restaurant is sophisticated enough for a date night, yet approachable enough that you would feel comfortable taking your family there. The wait staff is attentive, knows the menu well, and very helpful throughout your dinner. Water glasses were continually filled, plates were cleared, etc.. but as stated earlier the real star of this restaurant is the food. With a menu filled with everything from fresh ground burgers to fresh seafood and steakhouse worthy steaks, you know they prioritize ingredients and have a real chef in the kitchen. Every meal we have had has been top notch, with favorites including the filet, halibut, and homemade pasta dishes. The ingredients and preparations, create unique dishes artfully crafted to win over the stomachs of even the pickiest of eaters. The desserts are sinfully delicious and large enough to share. While our only complaint would be that a few appetizers have been a miss, but that is easily overlooked. If you are in the area make sure to put Thompson 105 on your must try list!

We tried this place last night and we were pleasantly surprised! The place was packed so reservations are highly recommended, at least in a Saturday night! We were seated right, smack in front of the live musician which we were not thrilled about. We tried to move tables but all other tables were reserved. Fortunately, they have the speakers down very low so the noise level was actually perfect but we were eye to eye with the musician so it felt a little awkward. The manager came and apologized to us and bought our first round of drinks, which was more than he needed to do but we appreciated the gesture for sure. Lesson here: when making your reservation, pick a booth or a high top table! Our waitress, Camille, was amazing from start to finish. She knew the menu well, made excellent recommendations and was super attentive! High points all around for great service! The food was really great too! For drinks, we ordered The Hully (Old Fashioned) and the Italicus Spritz(Aperol Spritz but sweeter). The Hully was super good! For dinner, we started with the fried artichoke hearts which came out fast, hot, and tasty. We then ordered the Lasagna and the Rotisserie Prime Rib. Both were super delicious. The meatballs in the lasagna were so good! The prime rib was smoky and the horseradish sauce was perfect; not too much horseradish and not too much sour cream. It was really great. We also go the sweet and salty brownie with ice cream for dessert. It is topped with a potato chip and is excellent. We will be going back for sure! There are more menu items I want to try.

This great restaurant, the food is amazing and really well made. Homemade prime rib and roasted chicken. I had the prime rib French dip with a side of parmesan and garlic fries and it was delicious. I also had the carrot cake which was really good. The French dip was rare and moist and the Anjou dip went perfectly with the sandwich. The service was excellent. My waitress was extremely polite and helpful considering that it was my first time visiting this restaurant and that made the experience that much more enjoyable. The ambiance of this restaurant is very sharp and clean. There are a few other restaurants in the area which are similar in style, but they mostly just phone it in when comes food and service. This place however has great food and service. I will certainly be returning here again in the near future.

We loved this place and definitely will be going back when visiting the area!! Service was great as we sat on the patio! Heaters to keep us warm and garage like windows to look into the restaurant. Live music the night we went. The food was very delicious. Pastas were cooked perfectly!

Great views of the McDowell mountains on the patio. The food was fresh and delicious. When you first walk in you see the rotisserie and it's full, just like the restaurant so we had high hopes. The focaccia bread they bring in a hot skillet and it melts in your mouth. They also will bring a neat little table fan to keep the flies away which was a nice touch. For appetizers we tried their meatballs and the avocado & shrimp which both were delicious. Husband had the hot iron filet which was super tender and flavorful, I had the shrimp and pasta which most of it came home with us ~ servings are large. Very nice atmosphere and you really wouldn't know it was here unless you lived up in the area.

Great service from the bar team (Jessica, Lily, Lexi) and a bonus to have the manager team (Kris) making the rounds to ensure satisfaction. We split our new fav the Radiatori Broccoli Rabe, which replaces our old favs of Prime Rib, and the Bistro Steak & Fries. All fresh and promptly served. Nevertheless, it's nearing Summer, so salad season and light eating is upon us. The view from the inside bar or large patio (facing out) adds a cherry on top of the worthy food and service.

This is our new "GOTO" happy hour. The place is always hopping with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a large happy hour menu and a full additional menu for dinner. Our server today was Stephanie and she was absolutely excellent. We just had some quick snacks but you can order anything here and not go wrong! The vibe is always fun & although it is an older clientele, its still pleasing to the eye.
